Full-stack developer with fourteen years of experience engineering business-critical software from the ground up, from analysing business processes and requirements to designing system architecture, database structures, workflows and user interfaces, through development, deployment and ongoing improvement. Diesel Laptops — Commercial vehicle diagnostics, multi-tenant SaaS serving 100,000+ users

  • Developer on a large-scale, multi-tenant SaaS platform for a diagnostics technology company supplying software, tools and equipment for the servicing of heavy-duty truck, off-highway, marine and agricultural vehicles.
  • Built and maintained backend services and REST APIs within a microservices architecture, and worked across frontend and backend to deliver and maintain production features.
  • Implemented and maintained Stripe integrations and transaction webhooks.
  • Used Redis, queues and background jobs to move heavy work off the request cycle.
